We are here for the inspiration, support, and education of those losing weight, especially if it is more than just a few pounds. Weight loss is more than just watching what you eat and increasing your activity level, though those are both essential for successfully letting go of extra pounds. For those of us who have gotten very overweight, it is also important to look at the emotional & mental causes of the gain, in order to deal with our weight at that level, as well. Losing weight and getting healthy is not hopeless for those of us who are obese. It may simply take more support and resources for us to get there.
